A memorandum for the installation of a LNG terminal at the Montenegrin port of Bar will be signed today

A Memorandum of Understanding, which will provide support for the improvement of Montenegro’s energy infrastructure, will be signed today between the Government of Montenegro and the companies Enerflex Energy Systems and Wethington Energy Innovation. MINA agency reports.

The project is aimed at the development and installation of a stationary terminal for the import of liquefied natural gas in Montenegro, its storage and transportation, as well as the development and installation of a thermal power plant fed with gas through the terminal.

The memorandum will be signed by Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic, Phil Pyle of Enerflex Energy Systems, registered in Canada, and Olin Wethington of the US company Wethington Energy Innovation. The US ambassador to Podgorica, Judy Rising Reinke, will also attend the event.
