Turkiye’s Botash to develop an underground natural gas storage facility in Bulgaria

Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez said that their state energy company Botash has signed an agreement to develop an underground natural gas storage facility in Bulgaria.

Fatih Dönmez reminded that earlier “Bulgargaz” had access to the gas pipeline system.

At the beginning of the year, ” Bulgargaz” received access to the “Botash” gas pipeline. In addition to gas pipelines, there are also five liquefied natural gas terminals operated by the company.
