Turkiye postpones the creation of a gas hub

The meeting in Istanbul, which was supposed to take place on February 14-15 and where it was expected to announce the creation of a regional gas hub in Turkiye, has been postponed to March 21-22.

The decision was expected and comes after the three huge earthquakes on February 6-7, which claimed the lives of over 30,000 people.

At the moment, the topic of rescuing the people left homeless and with a ruined future is much more important, the media in the country commented, referring to the statements of the rulers. According to the publications, the topic of natural gas remains important for Turkiye, especially since it is also about realizing the intentions of its own production in the Black Sea, so it will return to the agenda again when more important issues concerning the recovery of the regions affected by the strong earthquake.
