The Turkish energy company BOTASH signed an agreement for gas supplies to Romania

The Turkish oil and gas company “BOTAS” (“BOTAS”) has signed an agreement with the Romanian oil company OMV Petrom (OMV Petrom) for the supply of gas until the end of March 2025. This is reported by the “BOTASBTA.

Gas deliveries start on October 1. Romania will be able to receive up to 4 million cubic meters of gas per day. The agreement is valid until March 31, 2025.

“BOTAS” (“BOTAS”) and OMV Petrom agreed to develop cooperation in the field of supply, storage and production of energy resources, as well as in the use of green energy.

The Turkish company indicated that they will continue negotiations with other countries interested in receiving gas from Turkiye.

BOTASH has signed gas export contracts with Hungary and Bulgaria, the Turkish company recalls.
