Romania Hidroelectrica will deliver to Moldova 100MW more

Romanian hydropower company ‘Hidroelectrica’ scheduled to deliver electricity to Moldova under a contract providing 100MW supply over the first 11 days of December following by 20MW afterwards

Moldova electricity needs are 13GWh of energy per day and can provide only 20% from its own resources. Moldova lost its electricity suppliers in November when Ukraine became unable to provide electricity as its energy system was damaged by missiles, and the separatist region Transnistria refused to continue supplies citing insufficient gas deliveries from Gazprom.
